What You’ll Do
- Facilitate service absence and terminations within the province.
- Ensure compliance with national instructions related to service termination and absenteeism management.
- Monitor applications for temporary incapacity leave.
- Coordinate recruitment processes, employee appointments, transfers, and related matters.
- Administer medical board proceedings and manage injuries on duty.
- Oversee matters related to medals and awards.
- Facilitate training and related initiatives.
- Manage discipline and grievance matters.
- Supervise the application of information security standards as prescribed by relevant legislation.
- Control and oversee the allocation of human, physical, and financial resources in your environment.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or National Certificate (Vocational) recorded on the National Learner Record Database at NQF Level 4.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in human resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least two official languages, including English.
- South African citizenship, with documentation to be provided at the interview.
- No prior criminal or departmental convictions, with a vetting process including security screening and fingerprint verification.
- Strong computer literacy, interpersonal communication skills (both verbal and written), and excellent organisational abilities.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and completed developmental courses will be advantageous.
