What You’ll Do

  • Lead and supervise the recruitment process for new police personnel within the province.
  • Coordinate the appointment of candidates under the Public Service Act and Police Act, including trainees and professionals.
  • Maintain probation reports and ensure adherence to the code of conduct for new appointees.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance recruitment strategies and outreach efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures throughout the recruitment process.

What You’ll Need

  • A minimum of four years’ experience in human resources or related fields.
  • A three-year Diploma or Degree (NQF Level 6 or higher) recognized by SAQA, along with relevant training courses.
  • Proficiency in English and at least one other official language.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and report writing skills.
  • General computer literacy, including MS Office applications.
  • A valid driver’s license for light motor vehicles will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism and credibility.
