What You’ll Do
- Manage contracts with private security providers and ensure compliance with standards.
- Conduct crowd control and oversee the safety of the hospital grounds.
- Monitor the patrol of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing.
- Control access to keys and security documents, ensuring strict adherence to protocols.
- Investigate crimes and incidents, compiling reports and statements as needed.
- Supervise both in-house and outsourced security officers, enforcing disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the CCTV control room and access control systems.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
- Registration as a Security Officer Grade B or higher with the Security Board (PSIRA).
- Relevant experience in the security sector.
- A willingness to rotate through different sections of the security department and work shifts as required.
- A valid Driver’s License.
- Strong knowledge of security regulations, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A responsible, diligent approach to work, with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
