What You’ll Do

• Manage contracts with private security providers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct crowd control and oversee the safety of the hospital grounds.
• Monitor the patrol of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing.
• Control access to keys and security documents, ensuring strict adherence to protocols.
• Investigate crimes and incidents, compiling reports and statements as needed.
• Supervise both in-house and outsourced security officers, enforcing disciplinary measures when necessary.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the CCTV control room and access control systems.

What You’ll Need

• A Senior Certificate or an equivalent qualification.
• Registration as a Security Officer Grade B or higher with the Security Board (PSIRA).
• Relevant experience in the security sector.
• A willingness to rotate through different sections of the security department and work shifts as required.
• A valid Driver’s License.
• Strong knowledge of security regulations, procedures, and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A responsible, diligent approach to work, with the capacity to perform well under pressure.
