What You’ll Do
- Implement and monitor effective supply chain management procedures.
- Verify compliance of payment vouchers before processing.
- Authorize creditors’ payments using the financial management system.
- Ensure timely processing of creditors’ payments within 30 days.
- Address and resolve queries arising from creditors’ reconciliations.
- Authorize submitted claims on the procurement system.
- Manage petty cash administration.
- Reconcile contract payments efficiently.
- Register and maintain accurate records of all payment vouchers.
- Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Supervise personnel and assess their performance effectively.
What You’ll Need
- National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or equivalent NQF 6 qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ relevant experience in supply chain management or creditors payment.
- Proficiency in Walker System and knowledge of Supply Chain Management prescripts (PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury Regulations).
- Strong computer literacy.
- Ability to work under pressure, independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Competence in report writing and policy interpretation.
- Skills in financial management, conflict resolution, and personnel supervision.
