What You’ll Do

• Control access and egress points to the hospital, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
• Conduct regular patrols of the hospital buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to maintain safety.
• Investigate incidents, security breaches, and crimes, documenting findings through detailed reports and statements.
• Manage and control access to all hospital keys, ensuring their security is upheld.
• Supervise outsourced security personnel to ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of a General Education and Training Certificate (GETC) or Grade 9 (Std 7).
• Registration as a Security Officer Grade C or higher with the Security Board in accordance with the Security Industry Regulatory Authority Act (PSIRA).
• Relevant experience in a security officer role.
• A willingness to work shifts, including 24-hour availability, and adapt to changing schedules.
• Physical fitness to perform security duties effectively.
• A valid driver’s license is essential.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, along with a basic understanding of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
