What You’ll Do

  • Implement human resource practices related to recruitment and selection processes.
  • Attend to employee benefits and conditions of service.
  • Serve as the secretariat during selection and interview periods.
  • Administer the Performance and Development system and ensure adherence to probationary periods.
  • Assist in leave management and coordinate training and induction programmes.
  • Liaise with external training providers and facilitate training needs analysis.
  • Advise employees on career development opportunities.
  • Conduct skills development audits and administer internship and learnership programmes.
  • Facilitate needs-directed training courses, seminars, and workshops.
  • Serve as secretary during training committee meetings and perform related functions as required by your supervisor.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate national senior certificate/grade 12 (Vocational) (NCV) certificate (Level 4).
  • A bachelor’s degree or national diploma in Human Resource Management or Public Management will be advantageous.
  • A minimum of one to two years of experience in a Human Resource Management environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of human resources and public administration processes.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and the ability to manage data and administrative statistics.
  • Basic knowledge of human resource prescripts and registry duties.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and exercising good judgment.
  • A commitment to ethical conduct and customer-oriented service.

Requirements

An appropriate national senior certificate/grade 12 (Vocational) (NCV) certificate (Level 4) certificate.

An appropriate bachelor’s degree/national diploma in Human Resource Management/ Public Management will be an added advantage.

A minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of working experience in a Human Resource Management environment will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of Human resources or Public Administration processes.

Computer Literacy.

Knowledge of Human Resource functions as well as the ability to capture data, operate computers and collate administration statistics.

Basic knowledge and insight into human resource prescripts.

Knowledge and understanding of PERSAL.

Knowledge of registry duties and importance.

Flexibility and teamwork.

To have good interpersonal and communication skills, listening skills, and analytical skills.

Be customer-orientated and client-focused.

Be able to conduct him/herself ethically and accountably.

Able to work under pressure and be able to deal with confidential information and apply good judgement.

To work independently and to meet deadlines.

Implementation of Human Resource practices i.
