What You’ll Do

• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of designated areas within government facilities.
• Perform housekeeping duties, including washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
• Ensure hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
• Manage cleaning supplies and maintain stock levels.
• Safeguard cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of meeting spaces, including arranging chairs and providing refreshments.
• Implement basic security measures and monitor potential hazards related to fire and electricity.
• Comply with health and safety regulations, including Infection Control and Hygiene standards.

What You’ll Need

• NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
• Good communication skills.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the role.
• Honesty, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
