What You’ll Do
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of designated areas within government facilities.
- Perform housekeeping duties, including washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
- Ensure hygiene in restrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Manage cleaning supplies and maintain stock levels.
- Safeguard cleaning equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of meeting spaces, including arranging chairs and providing refreshments.
- Implement basic security measures and monitor potential hazards related to fire and electricity.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including Infection Control and Hygiene standards.
What You’ll Need
- NQF level 1 or 2 (ABET level 2 certificate or equivalent).
- Good communication skills.
- Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the role.
- Honesty, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset.
