What You’ll Do

  • Manage database operations for the District Health Information System (DHIS) and other relevant data systems.
  • Conduct facility data and performance review meetings to assess and enhance service delivery.
  • Verify, validate, and consolidate hospital data from various sources to ensure accuracy.
  • Timely capture and upload data into the Web-DHIS platform.
  • Assist with DHIS version updates and facilitate workshops on new versions.
  • Support the implementation of National, Provincial, and District Health Information systems.
  • Conduct data quality audits and develop quality improvement plans for health facilities.
  • Monitor the implementation of health information policies and procedures.

What You’ll Need

  • A Senior Certificate / Grade 12 qualification with at least three years of relevant experience in DHIS, or a Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6/7) in Statistics or Information Management recognized by SAQA with three years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced computer literacy, with skills in data analysis and presentation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Health Information systems and public health indicators.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong skills in data quality assessment and management.
  • A valid driver’s licence is required for this position.
