What You’ll Do

  • Receive and manage stock orders, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Move goods using pallet jacks, forklifts, or goods lifts to various sections.
  • Pack stock into boxes following established standards and protocols.
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

What You’ll Need

  • Relevant experience in a stores or warehouse environment.
  • Physical strength to lift heavy boxes and operate pallet jacks.
  • Willingness to undergo training for operating forklifts and hyster vehicles.

Requirements

Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Experience: Appropriate experience in a stores / warehouse environment.

Inherent requirements of the job: Incumbent must be able and strong enough to lift heavy boxes.

Incumbent must be able to operate loaded pallet jacks within normal limits.

Willingness to undergo training to operate a Hyster/forklift.

Willingness to work overtime when required.

Competencies (knowledge/skills): Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).

Ability to work independently and in a team.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Job Duties

Effective and efficient receiving of stock orders from the bulk store into Dispatch.

Move goods to and from different sections via a pallet jack using a goods lift or forklift/ hyster.

Pack stock in boxes according to standards.

Adherence to warehouse housekeeping standards.

R144 024 per annum 204
