What You’ll Do

  • Support the library material exchange system to facilitate efficient resource sharing.
  • Assist with the dispatch and collection of library materials from the Preparations Section and affiliated libraries.
  • Maintain library materials for loans and ensure they are in good condition.
  • Provide physical support for the movement of library materials and equipment as needed.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or an equivalent qualification.
  • Willingness to undertake overnight travel as required.
  • Capability to perform physically demanding duties.
  • Basic knowledge of numeracy and literacy, as well as library prescripts and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, along with filing principles and report writing abilities.
