What You’ll Do
- Efficiently recover, store, and process deceased individuals while ensuring their dignity.
- Conduct effective identification processes and manage the release of the deceased.
- Perform forensic autopsies and manage specimens in accordance with set standards.
- Maintain optimal control of reports and statements throughout the forensic mortuary process.
- Provide support to the Manager regarding Corporate and Clinical Governance functions.
- Assist in various duties, including potential involvement in an X-ray room and forensic investigations.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate with Mathematics, Life Science, and/or Biology.
- For Grade 1, no experience is required; Grade 2 requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
- Ability to interpret and apply policies effectively.
- Capability to work under pressure and handle physical demands, including lifting corpses.
- Willingness to travel long distances and work overtime or standby duties.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to confidentiality.
- Basic computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
