What You’ll Do

• Efficiently recover, store, and process deceased individuals while ensuring their dignity.
• Conduct effective identification processes and manage the release of the deceased.
• Perform forensic autopsies and manage specimens in accordance with set standards.
• Maintain optimal control of reports and statements throughout the forensic mortuary process.
• Provide support to the Manager regarding Corporate and Clinical Governance functions.
• Assist in various duties, including potential involvement in an X-ray room and forensic investigations.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum educational qualification of a Senior Certificate with Mathematics, Life Science, and/or Biology.
• For Grade 1, no experience is required; Grade 2 requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• A valid Code B/EB driver’s license.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies effectively.
• Capability to work under pressure and handle physical demands, including lifting corpses.
• Willingness to travel long distances and work overtime or standby duties.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to confidentiality.
• Basic computer literacy in MS Word and Excel.
