What You’ll Do

• Prepare food according to established menus and nutritional guidelines.
• Serve meals and refreshments to students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Operate food service equipment safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Assist in the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen equipment and dining facilities.

What You’ll Need

• NQF Level 2 (Grade 10/Standard 8) or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards.
• Good communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and manage time effectively.
• Competence in operating food service equipment.
• Understanding of hygiene practices in a food service environment.
