What You’ll Do

  • Perform general cleaning of office spaces, restrooms, and corridors to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Prepare and clean meeting boardrooms, ensuring they are ready for use.
  • Operate and care for cleaning equipment, reporting any faults as necessary.
  • Prepare refreshments for meetings and refresh boardrooms during lunch breaks.
  • Wash and clear crockery before and after meetings to support cleanliness.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and packing stock as well as participating in stocktaking.
  • Follow working schedules issued by the supervisor and assist with other related cleaning tasks.

What You’ll Need

  • ABET/Standard 8/Grade 10 qualification.
  • Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and basic occupational health and safety.
  • Basic understanding of departmental policies and food services will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to read and write.
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in a cleaning environment.
