What You’ll Do
- Administer the development and implementation of action plans supporting tourism strategies.
- Coordinate alignment between domestic tourism and sectoral strategies.
- Assist in identifying mechanisms for implementing tourism sector strategies.
- Develop progress reports to track the implementation of tourism initiatives.
- Facilitate impact assessment workshops and ongoing stakeholder engagements.
- Contribute to the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy and its implications.
- Ensure continuous reporting on the Social Tourism growth programme.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder contact management system.
- Provide logistical support for meetings and conferences related to tourism initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- A recognized NQF 6 qualification in Tourism Management or Social Studies.
- At least three years of relevant experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of the domestic tourism environment and social tourism concepts.
- Familiarity with tourism policies, including the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy.
- Strong networking, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Proficient presentation and report writing abilities.
- A valid driver’s license (candidates with disabilities preventing them from driving will still be considered).
