What You’ll Do

• Administer the development and implementation of action plans supporting tourism strategies.
• Coordinate alignment between domestic tourism and sectoral strategies.
• Assist in identifying mechanisms for implementing tourism sector strategies.
• Develop progress reports to track the implementation of tourism initiatives.
• Facilitate impact assessment workshops and ongoing stakeholder engagements.
• Contribute to the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy and its implications.
• Ensure continuous reporting on the Social Tourism growth programme.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive stakeholder contact management system.
• Provide logistical support for meetings and conferences related to tourism initiatives.

What You’ll Need

• A recognized NQF 6 qualification in Tourism Management or Social Studies.
• At least three years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of the domestic tourism environment and social tourism concepts.
• Familiarity with tourism policies, including the Domestic Tourism Growth Strategy.
• Strong networking, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficient presentation and report writing abilities.
• A valid driver’s license (candidates with disabilities preventing them from driving will still be considered).
