Key Responsibilities
The MFMA Internship Programme offers structured professional training and work experience, focusing on all facets of a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office. Governed by the Municipal Finance Management Act 56 of 2003, this programme enhances skills and competencies, potentially culminating in a qualification in Municipal Finance Management.

Requirements/Qualifications
Candidates must possess a relevant NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in a finance-related field, with majors in Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or Auditing. Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old. Additional competencies include teamwork, pressure management, communication skills, computer proficiency, assertiveness, attention to detail, and proficiency in Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa.

Benefits
Interns will receive a stipend of R100,000 per annum.
