What You’ll Do
- Consolidate, check, collect, and prepare financial data for budgeting and planning purposes.
- Prepare requests for roll-over, virements, and adjustment budget estimates.
- Conduct monthly forecasting and produce adjusted cash flow reports.
- Coordinate management and monitoring of budget revenue and expenditure trends.
- Authorize journals and oversee the provision of revenue services.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year tertiary qualification in Financial Management or Accounting at NQF level 6 or an equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in Financial Management and Accounting, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
- Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act, Public Service Regulations, and Treasury Regulations.
- Proficiency in basic accounting systems, cash flow management, budgeting, and expenditure control.
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, along with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
