What You’ll Do
- Oversee routine activities related to crop production and livestock management.
- Ensure the execution of general farm operations and maintenance of agricultural infrastructure.
- Manage administrative tasks related to farm activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate and supervise farm staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of livestock and crop management practices.
- Implement effective irrigation, planting, and fertilization methods to enhance productivity.
- Conduct regular maintenance of farm equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
What You’ll Need
- A Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in agricultural management.
- A valid Code B driving licence (candidates with disabilities that affect driving may apply if they have reasonable access to transport).
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to supervise staff and manage farm operations effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
