What You’ll Do

• Manage and implement strategies for the detection and control of animal diseases.
• Provide support services related to animal disease control and reproductive advancement.
• Conduct disease surveillance and outbreak management activities.
• Engage with animal owners to deliver extension services on animal health.
• Supervise resources and coordinate team efforts for effective service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to animal health.
• Perform administrative tasks including data management and reporting.

What You’ll Need

• An appropriate National Diploma or B-Degree in Animal Health, as recognized by SAQA.
• Valid registration with the South African Veterinary Council.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Animal Health environment.
• A valid driving licence.
• Strong computer literacy, particularly with MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven supervisory and investigation skills.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions and be available for emergency responses.
