Key Responsibilities
*Traffic Trainees* will receive hands-on experience in traffic management, road safety, and transport compliance. Responsibilities include traffic control activities, road safety awareness, public education programs, vehicle compliance support, municipal traffic duties, and general law enforcement support.
*Peace Officers* will promote public order, community safety, and compliance with municipal by-laws. Duties involve municipal law enforcement, public awareness campaigns, monitoring public spaces, reporting unlawful activities, supporting community safety initiatives, and assisting during municipal operations.
Requirements/Qualifications
– Grade 12 / Matric or equivalent qualification
– 0 to 2 years of experience
– Residency within Mbhashe Local Municipality (Dutywa, Willowvale, or Elliotdale)
– Valid Driver’s Licence Code EB
– Additional diploma or post-school qualification is advantageous
