What You’ll Do

  • Collect and deliver mail and documents to and from the post office and various locations.
  • Distribute internal mail and documents within the department to ensure timely communication.
  • Provide driving services for the directorate, assisting with any ad hoc driving requests.
  • Maintain the allocated vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
  • Assist in recording documentation for distribution and tracking purposes.
  • Uphold postal procedures and departmental delegations in all activities.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of two years’ driving experience.
  • A valid code 10 driver’s license and a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • A general understanding of the business environment and postal procedures.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, alongside good communication abilities.
  • A willingness to travel for overnight trips and work extra hours as needed.
