What You’ll Do

  • Collect and send mail bags to and from the post office.
  • Distribute mail and documents within and outside the department.
  • Provide driving support for departmental activities and respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Maintain the allocated vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition.
  • Assist in recording face value forms and documents for distribution.

What You’ll Need

  • A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of two years of driving experience.
  • A valid code 10 driver’s license plus a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
  • Willingness to travel on overnight trips and work extra hours.
  • General understanding of postal procedures and departmental delegations.
  • Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
