What You’ll Do
- Transport work teams, materials, and equipment to different Magistrate Courts as assigned.
- Complete vehicle logbooks and trip authorization documentation accurately.
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Maintain delivery schedules for timely transportation of personnel and items.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance standards.
- Operate vehicles in accordance with road traffic regulations and departmental policies.
- Maintain professional interactions with all stakeholders and provide excellent service.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle usage and report any issues promptly.
What You’ll Need
- A minimum of Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA.
- A valid driver’s license, with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP) considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act Regulations and Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with good interpersonal relations.
- Ability to effectively plan work processes and manage time efficiently.
