What You’ll Do
- Manage and oversee the provision of Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services.
- Lead district agricultural projects to ensure effective implementation and management.
- Develop and implement policies related to agricultural interventions.
- Provide administrative support to the district, including veterinary services.
- Manage resources effectively within the Directorate to enhance service delivery.

What You’ll Need
- An NQF level 07 qualification in Agriculture.
- A valid driver’s license.
- At least 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of relevant agricultural policies and legislation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Requirements
An NQF level 07 qualification in Agriculture and a valid driver’s licence.Experience: 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level.

Job Duties
Manage the provision of Agricultural Extension and Advisory Services.Manage district agricultural projects.
Manage the provision of all agricultural specific interventions and engineering support.
Contribute to the development and implementation of policies.
Manage the provision of administration support to the district (including the support to Animal Health institutions (Veterinarian Services) operating within the district boundaries.
Manage the resources of the Directorate.
