About the Role
The Department of Health is seeking a dedicated District Coordinator for the Provincial Council on AIDS, based in the Bojanala District. What You’ll Do
- Mobilise and coordinate stakeholders for a well-rounded response to HIV, TB, and STIs.
- Strengthen partnerships between public and private sectors for effective implementation of health plans.
- Provide secretariat services to the District AIDS Council and support its activities.
- Monitor the execution of the multi-sectoral District Implementation Plan.
- Support and oversee civil society participation in the health response initiatives.
- Coordinate the overall implementation of health strategies and interventions.
What You’ll Need
- A three-year appropriate tertiary qualification at NQF level 6 or equivalent.
- At least two years of applicable experience in a relevant field.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of database management and HIV strategies, legislation, and policy frameworks.
- Understanding of the South African and Provincial environment regarding HIV & AIDS.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and reporting skills.
