What You’ll Do

  • Monitor organizational performance regarding identified risks and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate departmental risks effectively.
  • Administer financial disclosures and maintain a transparent gift register.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF level 7 qualification in Risk Management or a related field recognized by SAQA.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in a middle or senior managerial role within a risk management environment.
  • Affiliation with a recognized professional body, such as IRMSA.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise-wide risk management principles and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with the Public Sector Risk Management Framework, Governance, Compliance, and Internal Control Frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations, and the Public Service Act.
  • Excellent skills in policy development, strategic leadership, project management, and financial management.
  • High-level analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with strong communication skills.
