What You’ll Do

• Provide strategic leadership for the provincial expense lease portfolio to align with accommodation strategies.
• Oversee the implementation of Immovable Asset Management Policy to ensure compliance with legislative frameworks.
• Direct strategic accommodation planning and optimize leasing decisions based on user needs.
• Manage high-level stakeholder relationships with landlords and client departments to ensure effective service delivery.
• Lead the management of the provincial income lease portfolio to maximize revenue and asset utilization.
• Oversee the development and maintenance of the Provincial Income Lease Register for strategic decision-making.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement regarding property matters and enhance partnerships with public institutions.
• Ensure compliance in managing municipal services, rates, and taxes related to state properties.
• Direct strategic land administration initiatives and oversee lease contract governance.

What You’ll Need

• National Senior Certificate.
• A B Degree/B SC in Property Studies/Real Estate (NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA).
• A minimum of 5 years of experience at a Middle/Senior Managerial level.
• Pre-entry certificate for the Senior Management Service (Nyukela) is required prior to appointment.
• A valid driver’s license.
• In-depth knowledge of public sector governance and property legislation.
• Strong skills in lease management, asset optimization, and financial management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
