What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the support and monitoring of corporate services within municipalities.
  • Ensure compliance with municipal Acts and regulations.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance municipal operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on statutory administrative matters.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and service excellence within municipal administrations.
  • Implement strategic initiatives to improve service delivery and governance.

What You’ll Need

  • A Bachelor’s Degree / NQF Level 7 qualification in Municipal Administration, Public Administration, Local Government, or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of middle/senior managerial experience in a municipal administration environment.
  • A SMS Pre-entry certificate (Nyukela) from the National School of Government (NSG) (to be submitted prior to appointment).
  • A valid Driver’s license (code 8).
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant local government legislation and principles.
  • Strong leadership, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for effective engagement with stakeholders.
