What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage partnerships with government entities and private sector finance institutions.

  • Direct investment marketing campaigns and identify potential investment promotion projects.
  • Facilitate inward and outward missions and engage with investors to promote South Africa as a viable investment destination.
  • Provide technical support and advisory services to companies looking to access financial incentives and ensure compliance with governance standards.
  • Conduct research and analysis to assess the performance of the unit and the effectiveness of incentive schemes.
  • Oversee strategic planning, resource management, and risk assessment for the directorate.

What You’ll Need

  • A qualification at NQF level 7 in Economics, Commerce, or a relevant field as recognized by the SAQA.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle to senior managerial role within an economic environment in the public or private sector.
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and building strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in research related to investment and incentive schemes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
