What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and implementation of HRM&D policies and operational plans.
  • Oversee human resource planning and recruitment services to ensure a skilled workforce.
  • Manage the implementation of conditions of service for public servants.
  • Facilitate skills development initiatives and manage bursary programs.
  • Coordinate organizational development services to enhance workforce capabilities.
  • Oversee the implementation of the performance management system to drive accountability.
  • Manage financial, human, and physical resources in accordance with relevant legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF 7) in Human Resource Management or related fields.
  • At least five years of experience in a middle/senior managerial role in Human Resource Management.
  • Valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong strategic capability and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability in program and project management alongside change management expertise.
  • Extensive knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service.
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
