What You’ll Do
- Oversee the development and implementation of human resource management and development policies and operational plans.
- Manage the provision of human resource planning and recruitment services to ensure the right talent is in place.
- Facilitate the implementation of conditions of service and skills development initiatives, including bursaries.
- Coordinate organizational development services and performance management systems to enhance staff capabilities.
- Utilize financial, human, and physical resources effectively, adhering to relevant legislation and directives.
What You’ll Need
- An undergraduate qualification (NQF 7) in Human Resource Management, Human Resource Development, Labour Relations, Public Management, or a related field recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of five years of experience in middle to senior managerial roles within human resources.
- A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
- Strong strategic capability and leadership skills, along with experience in project management and change management.
- Extensive knowledge of the legislative framework governing the public service, including relevant human resource practices and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
