What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with financial management standards and policies.
- Manage financial accounting processes and oversee departmental budgets.
- Lead the implementation of financial systems and procedures.
- Supervise salaries, payroll, and finance system maintenance.
- Oversee supply chain management and facilities administration.
- Manage the acquisition of goods, services, and assets.
- Provide logistics, travel, and transport services.
- Develop and maintain budgetary reports and internal controls.
- Manage asset and lease revenue effectively.
- Provide financial management support services to internal stakeholders.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate and a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in relevant fields such as Financial Management or Supply Chain Management (NQF Level 7).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role within a relevant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Treasury Regulations.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, alongside the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
- Excellent analytical thinking, communication (verbal and written), and project management skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and a valid driver’s licence, with a willingness to travel.
