What You’ll Do
- Oversee strategic management and operational performance of the Directorate.
- Provide expert advice on identity and access management services.
- Manage enterprise-wide messaging and collaboration services.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and governance requirements.
- Foster innovation and continuous improvement within the Directorate.
- Guide the recruitment, development, and performance management of staff.
- Manage the Directorate’s budgeting process and financial accountability.
- Liaise with stakeholders at executive, intergovernmental, and institutional levels.
What You’ll Need
- An appropriate qualification at NQF level 7 as recognized by SAQA.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle/senior managerial role.
- Successful completion of the Certificate for entry into the Senior Management Service (SMS) prior to appointment.
- Knowledge of legislation, policies, and best practices related to public service management.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- High-level computer literacy and digital workplace expertise.
- Excellent strategic and conceptual thinking abilities.
