What You’ll Do

• Manage the receipt and dispatch of cadastral documents for examination and approval.
• Ensure fees are processed before document acceptance into the system.
• Oversee registry enquiry services and maintain the cadastral correspondence filing system.
• Render first and second-level examination services for cadastral documents.
• Allocate land parcel numbers and ensure technical compliance of submitted documents.
• Communicate important management decisions and policies to staff.
• Provide professional advice to surveyors and government officials regarding land use.
• Liaise with the Registrar of Deeds to ensure documentation is registerable.
• Respond to public inquiries on land parcel boundaries and legislation.
• Support the training and development of officials within the cadastral system.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 Certificate and a four-year B or BSc Degree in Geomatics / Land Surveying or equivalent (NQF Level 7).
• Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor with the South African Geomatics Council.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle/senior managerial level within a land surveying environment.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong knowledge of cadastral surveying, land administration systems, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
