What You’ll Do

• Manage the provisioning of registry services and the handling of cadastral documents.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks governing land administration.
• Oversee the archiving and maintenance of correspondence filing systems.
• Facilitate professional advisory services for land reform projects and state surveys.
• Collaborate with Professional Land Surveyors and government officials on technical compliance matters.
• Conduct field surveys to resolve boundary disputes and verify land boundaries.
• Generate reports and provide feedback on land reform findings.
• Liaise with the public and stakeholders on land legislation-related matters.
• Support the training and development of officials in the cadastral system environment.

What You’ll Need

• Grade 12 Certificate and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Geomatics or Surveying.
• Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor with the South African Geomatics Council.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle/senior managerial level in a Land Surveying environment.
• Good understanding of land administration legislation and public service regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience in project management.
