What You’ll Do

• Manage and oversee the provisioning of registry services, ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations.
• Supervise the examination and approval of cadastral documents submitted by Professional Land Surveyors.
• Ensure the maintenance of an efficient filing system for cadastral correspondence and archiving of documents.
• Provide professional advice and support for land reform projects and state surveys.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including government officials and members of the public, to address land-related queries and concerns.
• Conduct research on land reform initiatives and prepare reports for decision-making processes.
• Oversee field surveys and boundary investigations to resolve disputes and ensure accuracy in land demarcation.
• Communicate and implement new policies and management decisions within the team effectively.

What You’ll Need

• A Grade 12 Certificate and an undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 7) in Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field.
• Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor with the South African Geomatics Council.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a middle or senior managerial role within a land surveying environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant land administration legislation and policies.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
