What You’ll Do
- Develop and manage youth development strategies and programmes to empower young individuals.
- Monitor the implementation of special programmes focused on youth development.
- Provide project management support to youth organizations and initiatives.
- Facilitate the transformation of residential care services for youth.
- Oversee the youth development budget and manage human and other resources effectively.
What You’ll Need
- A Grade 12 Certificate.
- An Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) in Youth Development, Community Development, Public Administration, or Public Management.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in a relevant field, with at least 3 years at the Assistant Director level.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge in management, service delivery innovation, problem-solving, and analysis.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- In-depth understanding of corporate services management in the public sector and social development environment.
