What You’ll Do
- Oversee the registration process for work seekers in the province, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Manage employer services to facilitate job placements and support local businesses.
- Implement and monitor work schemes aimed at empowering youth and vulnerable populations.
- Provide operational and technical support to labour centres to enhance the delivery of Public Employment Services.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, standard operating procedures, and performance plans.
What You’ll Need
- A qualification at NQF 6 recognized by SAQA in fields such as Social Sciences, Psychology, Public Administration, or Business Management.
- A minimum of five years of experience, with at least two years at the Assistant Director level and three years in Public Employment Services (PES) programmes.
- Solid understanding of ILO conventions, financial management, human resource management, and various relevant Acts.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in analytical thinking, report writing, and information management.
