What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement the Risk Management Policy and Strategy.
  • Facilitate risk assessment processes and maintain updated risk registers.
  • Monitor the implementation of risk action plans and assess their effectiveness.
  • Create a risk awareness culture through training sessions and workshops.
  • Ensure adherence to Risk and Business Continuity Management (BCM) policies.
  • Provide support and guidance to risk champions in updating Branch risk registers.
  • Facilitate Business Continuity Management initiatives and disaster management.
  • Quality assure Business Continuity Plans and ensure they are signed off.
  • Manage resources effectively in accordance with relevant legislation.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Auditing, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Risk Management, with at least three years at a supervisory level.
  • Experience in Business Continuity Management is an advantage.
  • A valid driver’s license (exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Strong skills in risk assessments, reporting, and training.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (PFMA, Treasury Regulations, Public Service Act).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Risk Management Systems.
  • Excellent planning, organizing, project management, communication, and analytical skills.
