What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement the Risk Management Policy and Strategy.
- Facilitate risk assessment processes and maintain risk registers.
- Monitor and evaluate action plans related to risk management.
- Conduct risk awareness sessions to cultivate a risk-aware culture.
- Educate and train staff on risk management principles and best practices.
- Support risk champions in updating risk registers on a quarterly basis.
- Guide the department in Business Continuity Management and disaster management initiatives.
- Ensure that Business Continuity Plans are updated and approved.
- Manage resources according to relevant legislation and directives.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF 6 qualification in Risk Management, Internal Auditing, Auditing, Accounting, or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Risk Management, with at least three years at a supervisory level.
- Knowledge of Business Continuity Management is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license (excluding individuals with disabilities).
- Strong skills in risk assessments, reporting, and governance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Risk Management Systems.
- Excellent planning, organizing, communication, and analytical skills.
