What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the Records and Knowledge Management processes within the department.
  • Develop and implement file plans, policy frameworks, and procedure manuals.
  • Manage the custody, receival, and disposal of departmental records.
  • Ensure compliance with PAIA, POPIA, and PAJA legislation in records management.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops on Records and Knowledge Management.
  • Facilitate resource management (financial, human, and physical) according to relevant directives.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Records Management, Archival Studies, Information Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in Records and Knowledge Management, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities).
  • Knowledge of basic archives and records management principles.
  • Strong leadership and strategic capability.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and conflict management skills.
