Your expertise will help to implement essential LED initiatives and interventions, all while supporting the rollout of public employment programs. What You’ll Do

• Coordinate and manage the functionality of Municipal and Provincial LED forums.
• Oversee the development and regular review of Municipal LED strategies.
• Facilitate the implementation of LED initiatives and interventions.
• Monitor the rollout of public employment programs, including the Community Work Programme and EPWPP within the province.
• Support the implementation of the Small-Town Revitalization Programme and the Integrated Urban Development Framework.

What You’ll Need

• A Matric certificate along with an undergraduate qualification (NQF 6) in Public Administration, Project Management, Developmental Studies, or Economics as recognized by SAQA.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the relevant field, with at least 3 years at Assistant Director or Junior Management level.
• A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for candidates with disabilities).
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and frameworks governing public service, including the Public Service Act, Labour Relations Act, and Municipal LED strategies.
• Excellent skills in negotiation, presentation, people management, time management, and communication, both formal and informal.
• Proficiency in project management, financial management, leadership, and analytical skills.
