About the Role
The Government Pensions Administration Agency (GPAA) is seeking a proactive and dynamic individual to join their team as the Deputy Director for the Provincial Office in Kimberley, Northern Cape. What You’ll Do
- Manage customer relationships within the Provincial Office to enhance service delivery.
- Develop and implement annual performance plans and action plans.
- Provide inputs for policy development and ensure effective implementation.
- Streamline processes for better workflow and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure continuous improvements.
- Lead and guide staff in achieving GPAA’s strategic objectives.
- Analyze service delivery metrics and develop quality assurance strategies.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to resolve inquiries or complaints.
- Monitor compliance with risk management and audit requirements.
- Drive change initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.
What You’ll Need
- A relevant three-year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of six years’ experience in customer service management, with at least three years in a management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of GEPF services and applications.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively.
- A results-driven and proactive mindset, with a commitment to ethical practices.
