What You’ll Do

  • Manage and oversee recruitment and selection services for the department.
  • Develop and implement human resource planning strategies.
  • Maintain HR information management and ensure compliance with policies.
  • Administer the personnel salaries administration system (PERSAL).
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Supervise and manage HR personnel, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Conduct policy development and ensure adherence to legislative frameworks.
  • Manage the department’s establishment and database effectively.

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Five years of experience in the Human Resource Management field, with three years at a supervisory level.
  • Extensive experience in Human Resource Recruitment and Planning.
  • Proven completion of PERSAL Administration.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, regulations, and the Public Service framework.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in analytical thinking, report writing, and project management.
