What You’ll Do
- Oversee recruitment and selection services, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Develop and implement HR planning initiatives to meet departmental needs.
- Manage and maintain the PERSAL system for accurate payroll administration.
- Ensure compliance with public service regulations and policies.
- Foster relationships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Supervise and mentor HR staff, promoting a culture of growth and accountability.
- Monitor and manage the HR management function for operational effectiveness.
What You’ll Need
- An NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- A minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resource Management, with at least three years in a supervisory role.
- Extensive knowledge of recruitment and planning within a transactional HR environment.
- Proven experience with PERSAL administration and completion of PERSAL Controller training is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management.
