What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the development and execution of workplace skills plans.
  • Implement Human Resource Development strategies and initiatives.
  • Manage the provision of training programs and developmental initiatives.
  • Ensure effective performance management systems are in place.
  • Coordinate resources within the Sub-directorate to achieve departmental goals.

What You’ll Need

  • An undergraduate qualification (NQF level 6) in Human Resource Management or Human Resource Development.
  • At least 5 years of functional experience in Human Resource Development and Performance Management, with a minimum of 2 years at the Assistant Director level.
  • Strong knowledge of performance management methodologies and strategies.
  • Familiarity with relevant HRM systems and public service regulations.
  • Excellent skills in coaching, mentoring, conflict management, and stakeholder relations.
