What You’ll Do

  • Direct and coordinate all financial management functions for the Chief Directorate related to infrastructure.
  • Manage financial issues and supply chain management for infrastructure projects and programmes.
  • Extract, analyze, and validate financial information to support project goals.
  • Provide comprehensive financial administration services for infrastructure programmes and projects.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports to inform decision-making.
  • Offer budget administration services to ensure efficient allocation of resources.
  • Maintain an organized document management system for all financial documentation.

What You’ll Need

  • An appropriate degree (NQF 7) in Commerce, Accounting, or Economics.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong computer literacy skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial management within the context of government infrastructure budgeting and spending.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Successful candidates will need to complete two pre-entry assessments focusing on technical and generic requirements, along with an integrity assessment.
