What You’ll Do

  • Supervise the registration and licensing of motor vehicles within the registering authority.
  • Manage the collection of revenue related to vehicle registration and licensing.
  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of NaTIS revenue collection to ensure accuracy.
  • Administer the collection and allocation of face value documents for vehicle registrations.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Road Traffic Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Compile Sensitive Transaction Requests as per NaTIS Help Desk requirements.
  • Maintain and ensure the availability of NaTIS equipment and materials.
  • Oversee staff performance and development, providing training and support as necessary.
  • Prepare monthly financial and non-financial reports for departmental review.
  • Supervise key responsibilities of staff and ensure efficient workflow within the office.

What You’ll Need

  • Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of relevant experience in NaTIS Motor Vehicle Administration.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, the Public Finance Management Act, and Treasury Regulations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer literacy and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, maintaining high service standards.
