What You’ll Do
- Manage financial administration services to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Oversee budget expenditure and monitor financial statements for accuracy.
- Ensure timely payment to service providers and effective banking and revenue services.
- Manage salary services and ensure adherence to internal control requirements.
- Supervise supply chain services, including acquisition and demand management.
- Coordinate logistics and facilities management services to support operational effectiveness.
- Provide transport services and manage district movable assets, ensuring compliance with asset management policies.
- Facilitate human resource services, including recruitment and employee wellness programs.
- Assist in compiling and submitting annual recruitment plans and other required reports.
- Support the development of policies and operational plans, attending to audit matters as necessary.
What You’ll Need
- A National Senior Certificate plus a relevant Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 6) or preferably a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) recognized by SAQA in fields like Public Administration, Management, or Human Resource Management.
- A minimum of three years’ experience at an assistant director level within public service.
- Strong understanding of corporate services management and applicable policy frameworks.
- Competencies in strategic leadership, financial management, problem-solving, and people management.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- A valid driving license is required.
