What You’ll Do

  • Manage leave utilization and oversee the termination of services for employees
  • Administer service benefits and ensure compliance with relevant directives
  • Optimize the use of financial, human, and physical resources
  • Develop policies and procedures related to conditions of service
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for staff
  • Lead conflict resolution and problem-solving efforts within the department
  • Conduct strategic planning and operational planning activities
  • Ensure adherence to budgetary and financial management principles

What You’ll Need

  • An NQF 6 qualification in Human Resource Management, Public Administration, or a similar field recognized by SAQA
  • A minimum of five years of experience in the Conditions of Service field, with at least three years at a supervisory level
  • Proven successful completion of PERSAL Administration
  • A valid driver’s license (with exceptions for persons with disabilities)
  • Strong knowledge of relevant acts, policies, and regulations
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and strategic planning abilities
  • Proven skills in conflict management, problem-solving, and interpersonal relations
  • Proficiency in computer literacy, numeracy, and administrative skills
