What You’ll Do

• Provide primary and secondary dental services to patients in PHC clinics.
• Lead and manage the dental unit, ensuring effective governance.
• Deliver outreach dental care services to local communities.
• Maintain compliance with Ideal Clinic standards and infection control protocols.
• Oversee quality health service delivery and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills.

What You’ll Need

• Appropriate qualification allowing registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dentist.
• Registration with HPCSA as a Dentist is mandatory.
• Grade 1: No experience required post-registration for South African qualified candidates; 1 year relevant experience for foreign qualified candidates.
• Grade 2: Minimum of 7 years’ experience for South African candidates; 8 years for foreign qualified candidates.
• Grade 3: Minimum of 12 years’ experience for South African candidates; 13 years for foreign qualified candidates.
• Valid driver’s license (Code B/EB) and willingness to travel throughout the Stellenbosch Sub District.
• Strong clinical documentation, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt and respond to varying client needs.
